Our Barry County Substance Abuse Task Force (SATF) envisions a drug free county.

As a local coalition task force, our goal is to have Barry County be a county that is free of drug use and alcohol. To succeed, our task force not only works with the youth of our community, but also with local law enforcement, business owners, parents, volunteers and the public at large. Our goal is to raise awareness in our communities on the dangers presented by underage drinking, drug use and tobacco use.

If you are interested in helping us spread our prevention message, we invite you to join our in person, hybrid or Zoom monthly meetings! Barry County SATF meetings are held once per month, on every fourth Monday of the month at 9:00am. These meetings are open to everyone and we greatly encourage the community to join and support our task force efforts! We follow a general agenda which includes time for virtual large and small break-out group discussions and review of current community focused prevention projects.
